The Maryland Samborees offer camping with limited electricity and water is available for "fill ups" and through the "buddy system" with extra hoses and "Ys." For those with a handicap, we have Walking and Full Handicap spaces close to the buildings.

We have both a spring and fall Samboree which provide great entertainment for three nights in the Spring and 2 nights in the Fall. We also have two continental breakfasts.  At our spring Samboree we have a cooked breakfast and an ice cream social. At our Fall Samboree we offer an optional delicious Catered Dinner for your dining pleasure.

Each Samboree has its own theme.  We explore the theme through contests, an Individual and Chapter Parade, and a Theme Decorating Contest.

We offer seminars, vendors, door prizes, and a Good Sam store. The chapters provide an arts and crafts flea market.

There is Bingo, a Money Prize, Blongo and Washer Board this Spring along with Horseshoes, and a Bean Bag Baseball game.

The State Staff also provide activities, games, and movies for the children. Remember the first two children are free so bring the kids or grandkids.

Worship services on Sunday are available at the fairgrounds.

If all of this isn’t enough we also offer for your lunch dining pleasure “Sam’s Diner", Tours, and Early Bird camping (that includes entertainment) all for a additional nominal fee.

You can make new friends and catch up with old friends.  Participate in as many or as few activities as you wish.  Have a weekend full of activities or just sit back and relax, the choice is all yours.
